Introduction

Hi everyone!  My blog is about the differences in communication between men and women in the workplace and the different tensions it can cause.

I'll start with a topic to get the ball rolling.

If a male employee and his female colleague have the same position within a company, same level of education, and same work experience, should he make a couple of bucks more simply because of his gender? As a woman I say, of course, NO!!!

Gentlemen if you disagree with me, please give me your input and try to change my mind.

Equal Pay for Equal Work!!!!!

  4. Ummm... OK, I agree with that.

However, the "wage gap" is a myth contrived by feminists to further their own agenda and is a blatant misrepresentation of facts.

-The wage gap statistic doesn’t compare two similarly situated co-workers of different sexes, working in the same industry, performing the same work, for the same number of hours a day. It merely reflects the median earnings of all men and women classified as full-time workers.

-Men on average work 5% longer a week than women, so right there 1/4 of the gap is covered.

-Men and women gravitate to different industries. Generally speaking, women opt for lower paying jobs with more attractive characteristics, while men will take better paying jobs with less attractive ones.

-Men will work longer hours and work more overtime.

-Children affect this too. Women will sacrifice better paying jobs for more "child friendly" positions.

-Women who take time off to raise children will skew numbers in the realm of overall earnings.

Also women tend to get agitated on their periods so they are less productive and they have boobs which distract the male workers so they should take a hit for that.
